The Dixie Chicks were cheered mightily at the first stop on their Top of the World tour. The protesters who showed up made Martha Burke look like the second coming of Martin Luther King, Jr.


Meanwhile, back on the ranch, Alan Jackson, the man behind the patriotic song "Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)," is playing to less-than-full venues.
