Here's a story on how the Republicans already have strategies to fight John Kerry. One of the points is that Kerry has the longest "paper trail" of past votes and positions. It became the fashion to appoint "stealth judges" like David Souter who lacked a harmful record. Have we reached the point in politics where we need that sort of quality in a presidential candidate?
